Brentwood, California is a little confusing to people who live outside the state, and many who live inside the State of California. The real Brentwood is a city on the easternmost reaches of Contra Costa County in the East Bay. There’s another Brentwood, but it’s a wealthy, somewhat infamous, subdivision on the west side of Los Angeles.
With a median home price of less than $600,000, Brentwood is one of the most affordable cities in the entire Bay Area. The biggest compromise might be the commute, but it’s an easy drive to a BART station where you can hop on a train to San Francisco or San Jose.
If you’re moving to Brentwood, or within Brentwood, you might be a little nervous about hiring a mover whose offices are closer to the Bay. No need to worry. According to California State law, a mover can only charge you for the time between your old home and your new home and back. In other words, we can’t charge you for the time it takes us to get to your origin address or back from your destination address.
